Zachary is an adventurer that likes to experience all the world has to offer. He has wrestled alligators, ran with the bulls, jumped from planes, rappelled upside down a 100’ cliff face, and was even wounded in combat while serving with the Marine Corps. After being recognized as Marine of the Year, earning an MBA, becoming the youngest licensed home builder in California, and, recently, awarded 40 Under 40 in business, you would never guess he grew up in poverty, was homeless as a teen, and had to sell his furniture to start Veteran Builders. 

Now, he spends his days growing the company he bet everything on, raising his daughter, and sprinkles some adventure in when he has a moment to spare. His goal is to leave a legacy by living a life worth remembering; to make an impact on the world that will stand the test of time. 

Randy is the icon for midwestern hospitality and family man. Born in Wisconsin on a dairy farm, he knows what a hard day’s work is and what it means to have pride in all that you do. As a young man, he enlisted in the Army and was selected as the top 1% and sent on special assignment to Berlin, Germany. After 7 years of service in the military, Randy began his life as a general contractor in California and Texas and has built more than 100 homes in his 34 years of construction. When he’s not building with us, he still takes his 5 children, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild to dinner every Friday night and church on Sunday. 

Luke is a country boy from Upstate New York that spends every free second he has bass fishing across the United States. Serving in the Marine Corps as a machine gunner, Luke quickly found his passion and skill as a leader. He was promoted to the position of squad leader and section leader in a short time where his responsibility was to train and lead Marines into battle. To continue leading and giving back to his veteran brothers and sisters, Luke assumed the role of Project Manager with us and has been foundational in our valuable relationships with subcontractors and clients. He has been able to build a successful career while completing a degree in business administration; the ultimate test of time management. 

TJ is a red-blooded Texan that enlisted to be an infantry machine gunner in the Marine Corps right after high school. During his service he traveled the world from South Korea to Australia and trained with elite units along his travels. After serving four years in the military, he earned a degree in health sciences, received his EMT License, and worked long, grueling shifts at a local hospital. TJ took our Estimating Manager position in 2020 and is a pivotal person in the success of Veteran Builders. He has found a passion for construction that has sparked his desire to go back to college for a degree in civil engineering.
